SPAA students recently took part in the action making & fighting for camera workshop led by Frances Katz.
Over the last two years, Frances has worked not only as an actress and stunt woman but also as a fight and movement choreographer on projects such as The Kingsman movie, and with actors and celebrities including Anya Taylor-Joy, FKA Twigs, Matty Healy (The 1975), and more.
She has also received recognition for her own work as a filmmaker. Her two short films, RAINAISSANCE and OCEAN WHISPERER, have earned worldwide recognition and awards.
Last month, Frances was in California shooting the pilot feature film development OCEAN WHISPERER, which she will soon be working on funding and further development.
SPAA students engaged in this workshop to gain insight into her professional experience and explore the techniques she shared during the session.
