SHARJAH — 3 December 2025
Sharjah Performing Arts Academy (SPAA) is celebrating the success of three Musical Theatre alumni, Kirolous Mounir, Laila Ashraf and Andrew William, who are making notable contributions to the performing arts scene in Egypt.
Andrew and Kirolous have both taken on two roles each in Oliver in Arabic – The Musical, while Laila has brought her creative expertise to the production team as choreographer. Their achievements reflect the strong training and artistic professionalism they developed throughout their four years of study at SPAA.
The acclaimed production is presented by Fabrica Musical Theatre in Egypt and conducted by the company’s founder, renowned Egyptian soprano Dr Neveen Allouba. Following a completely sold-out first season, Fabrica’s revival of Oliver in Arabic continues to capture audiences with its magical blend of music, theatre and storytelling, inspired by Charles Dickens’ Oliver Twist.
SPAA is proud to see its alumni thriving internationally and contributing to the growth of musical theatre across the region.
