SHARJAH, 3 November 2025 —

On Monday, 27 October, the College of Music at Sharjah Performing Arts Academy (SPAA) was delighted to participate in the first Emirati Musicians Association Forum, held under the honorary patronage of H.E. Huda Alkhamis-Kanoo and in collaboration with the UAE Ministry of Culture.

Faculty members Dr Alexandros Spyrou (Dean of the College), Dr Amer Didi (Programme Leader, Arabic Music), Dr Jeremy Leong (Associate Programme Leader, Western Music), and Mr Kenan Adnawi (Oud Tutor) represented SPAA and had the opportunity to exchange ideas and strengthen connections with fellow musicians, educators, and cultural leaders. Joining them was Musical Theatre student Wed Dawina, who represented SPAA through her engagement with musicians, educators, and the audience.

The Centre for Musical Arts (CMA) Dubai team visited SPAA’s booth at the forum and engaged in discussions about shared musical and educational interests, as well as opportunities for future collaboration. The visit concluded with a virtual tour of SPAA’s main building and the new College of Music facility, followed by a photography session to mark the occasion.
